Knock

What should be a normal knock on the safc II? Does any body know?

The knock feature on the Apexi AFC for the EVOs is inaccurate, dont go by it.

how else will i know if the car is knocking without any other tools?

by looking at your timing curve with a palm pilot and some form of data logging software!

ebay palm and software cable should be like 200 bucks total....

Exactly. I just got my palm pilot this past Friday and I used it this weekend! Just gott keep an eye on that timing.

where did you buy the palm and the software to go with it? does it hook up to the obd2?

There are threads within this SAFC forum that will give you an idea how to calibrate that feature. You can get it to indicate knock if you follow our method.

There is no way to set it to zero, but we came up with this and validated timing retard at this point.
