Mine hit 208 this morning and then 180 this afternoon. Both were at WOT pulls to 7K... But keep in mind I'm only boosting 17psi.

Everyone tells me the SAFC-II knk reading is crap and to not go off of it. I was just wondering what other people have seen on their knk readings. I guess it also has to do with how you have your knock reading set???

I would set it to the highest count you can get under setup and then ignore anything under 100 after that. Over 100 and you will likely have "actual" knock.

We used a link electrosystems knocklink and timing datalogger for months to come up with this formula and believe it to be as accurate as could be asked for compared to any other data on this subject.

Thanks for the post. How high would you guess the reading would be for audible knock? I know up to a point there is pinging that you can't even hear, but it is still bad for the engine.

Also, what do you mean- "set it to the highest count you can get under setup?"

Under the setup screen you set knock threshold. Rev and hold to the set RPM, keep resetting the SAFC until you reach one of the higher numeric knock settings and save it.
