DTEC piggyback

Hey, i was wondering if anyone out there is running the DTEC unit on their evo. If so, how do you like it, is it easy to tune, etc. Just looking for some feedback on this unit since i plan to run this one with my evo turbo setup on my lancer. thanks for any insights.

It is a great setup. One of our employees has this installed on his subaru. It is a great tool. Much easier to tune then a SAFC. Has a knock light and shift light. Displays gauges. And if you get the FCBC pro you can control fuel and boost per gear.

I like the gameboy but some people don't. You only need the gameboy in the car when you tune. other then that you do not need it.

yeah some of the things u listed are the reasons i was planning on runnig this unit on my car. i really like the ability to have different boost levels in each gear since with a FWD car i'll have a tough time hooking up in 1st.

what is the user interface like? is it rather intuitive or do u need to do a lot of reading like other piggyback/ems systems?

It is pretty simple. I didn't even read the instructions. I hopping in the car going to lunch one day and was like, "ohhhhhh gameboy" Picked it up and started messing with it. Very very simple!!

We are hoping to get the car on the dyno with it in the next couple weeks and get it tuned perfect.

I would read the manual though. Maybe even twice.
