12v source for gm maf

12v source for gm maf

any one knows where i can tap into a 12v source for my 3inch gm maf ...?

grrrrr its my last connection left but im clueless where to connect to...

and no i dont have a mutil whatever meter lol haha...

Well, you SHOULD have a multimeter if your attempting this stuff yourself, but I can preach to you later..

the stock MAF harness has a 12v source, it should be green with a red stripe on it if I recall, but the easiest way to know is to USE A MULTIMETER.... (if you need under hood power source)

Yeah, I agree with Jack I pulled mine from the harness. Also, same as Jack, I ending up getting a broken MAF and using it's connector(PnP). For reference the 12v is the middle pin of the 7 on the MAF connector.

What do you mean you got a broken maf how did that happen?

I got mine from a local friend. His screen was messed up. He got a replacement and gave me his old messed up one. I took that apart and connected it to the GM pigtail. So now I can switch between the stock and GM Maf with no wiring changes.

If for whatever reason I need to go back to the stock computer only. I also do a decent amount of alpha/beta testing for Tom. So I need to be able to tell him if it works on both setups.
