Is the utec evo specific?

I have gotten conflicting responses from sellers. I have an evo 7 rhd and wanted to know if the utec for the 8 can work on the evo 7 with little obstacles in installation and operation?

Contact TurboXS, however I'm fairly certain there are enough differences between the ECU for the USDM 8 and the JDM 7 that it probably won't work.
