Load %'s?

While I was at the track yesterday, I noticed something very interesting. I never get past 50% load. Anyone know why? Is this something I should be concerned about?

Look at your MAF reading, and look at the MAX MAF setting.. If its set for 25 (2500hz) max, and your hitting 1500hz max, you will remain on the 50% load site (roughly, there are a few factors that determine load site)

If you know your max boost, and have the value logged of your max maf, then you can set that so you hit the 100% column.

jack, how would something like this change for me using a map sensor? and "know your max boost," does this refer the max boost on pump gas or race gas?

Oh yeah, if your using the MAP sensor, you have to set the max boost also.. But the max setting is the max you will see ever.. if you have 3 maps, a race map, a drag map, and a street map, you would need to adjust your settings for the one that gets the highest readings.

Thanks for the answer Jack, that's exactly what it is. When I was having fuel cut issues, I set that for 3000hz thinking that maybe it had something to do with the fuel cut. I forgot about it until I read your reply and realized that I never set it back.

So if the highest hz reading I got at the track is ~1840hz should I set my max at 1850? What happens if I go over that?

Anything over 1850hz will remain in the 100% column, thats why its important to rough in your curve as much as possible, it allows you to get the best tune..
