Boost controller hook with PFC

I have the optional APEXi boost controller with my PFC and I know every one argues about how to hook it up (turbo or intake manifold), but I was wondering if any one else is running this set up and how they it hooked it up. Or better yet anyone who has tried both and can give feed back on both.

Thank - PV

You splice it into the stock boost solenoid sensor.

I have the optional APEXi boost controller. I have it hooked up from the nipple on the turbo right now but I seem to have alot of surging. I was wondering if it is better to hook it up to the intake manifold where the DV line come from?

If you are running on the stock turbo and wastgate then you have to hook up online to the turbo and one to the wastegate. If you are running an external wastegate, one line goes to the top of the wastegate and one goes to the manifold for boost reference.

Ya I am running a stock turbo but have heard that tapping into the manifold give a more acurate value as thet is the exact boost going into the engine. Thay also less spikes because of the lag time from the turbo to the manifold but on the flip side it tends to over boost a little. anyhow just wondering everyones thoughts based on the PFC.

The FC is a great tuning tool. I'm currently making 433 to the wheels with it.
