Are custom tunes always better than any mail-in flashes???

I hope that 1100 includes a spare ECU, detailing, new rims and some head from a hot chick.
I know man... But, the tuner who used to work there was one of top tuners in the nation. He used to tune 'Mazdacup' race cars, ferraris, etc.... Can you believe that when I called them back in March to make an appointment, they were all booked until June despite their high prices...?

I could not wait for a custom tune from dynoflash so I got a mail in flash. Then about two months later some people organized to have Al fly out for some custom tunes. I got in on the two hour custom tunes. paid $300 on top of the main in fee and realized that Al did not have to make hardly an adjustments except for a minor (very minor) knock in the upper RPM's. it took him longer to hook up his equipment than to tune my car again.

On the good side: He was right on with his mail in flash, really no custom tune needed, with my mods anyway. My car is a daily driver as well and i do need reliability, my car has been running excellent.

On the bad side: I paid all that extra money for 30 minutes of custom tune time.

just my .02 hope it helps a little.

If you have a good tuner available to you close, I would just get ecuflash and have a good local tuner tune your car..if you have no choice but mail in then, Works or Vishnu from your list. Custom tune would be your best choice.
