hello? ........ HELLO !?! ...... Anybody ????

hmmmm ..... guess I'm the only one hanging out here lately.

The UTEC has a"Valet" map which has turned down boost. But I question whether it works, if you are not using their MAP sensor/ Boost Controller set up.
I tried it the other day and my boost shot to 20+. I didnt have room to find out if it would hold... I was in the DMV parking are trying to get it ready for my son to do his drive test so that he wouldn't scare the drive test guy :-D

As you probably already know, and valet map would not necessarily equal good economy, but you could always start there.

Good luck

the Valet map has a rev limit set low.. but no economy map..

Its certainly possible that they could offer it.. Then again until we know what other features their going to be releasing, and when, its pointless to discuss..

I had an "Economy maps" on my car.. IT was something I just put in the #1 slot.. I had a GM boost control solenoid in place of the stock one, so I could run 10psi of boost, and tuned it for that, plus fairly lean and unaggressive timing.. With that map I could get 325 miles on a tank of gas.. Unfortunately its only useful if your not in closed loop.. in closed loop it always maintains 14.7, but setting the boost as low as it would go did help quite a bit.

If your using their boost control with bleed valve, even setting the boost maps to 0 would likely still spike the boost to 18-20 psi due to how the system works. But give it a try, make one of your maps boost (if your using the stock solenoid) to 0 or 1 (if your using the closed loop boost feature use the value 1)
