power fc info needed + 2 step??

ok, i might have found a good deal on a power fc, i was leaning toward the AEM but i may give this a shot.

so anyway, he is including the power fc, controller, and map sensor.
what else would i need to make it work?

is the D-jetro the one that utilizes the map sensor?

i want to make sure i am looking at the right thing and not be dissapointed down the road when it doesn't do what i want need.

also, is there any 2 step or how would you go about getting a 2 step set up for launching?

thanks
jon

if its the powerfc, hand controller and map sensor then its likely to be the djetro version.
but, the boost control add on kit for the powerfc has a map sensor and a solenoid, so it might be best to clarify where its coming with the boost control kit or if its the djetro version.

theres is no 2 step launching with the powerfc, youll need a seperate external device. i think the gizmo launch control box can do it quiet nicely for you

from what the apexi tech told me, you will also need a air intake temp sensor w/ the harness, if you have the djetro (which i think you have).

no the evo should have a factory airtemp sensor on the car already
you shouldnt need to install an addtional airtemp sensor, as the evo has one already
