How many actually blew up WHILE RUNNING METH INJ?

I haven't, but you hear about the "failsafe" kits, and if you don't have one, you go BOOM if there is an empty tank/problem with the system. How many have been spraying Meth/H2O etc... and while on the gas went KABOOM? If so, what caused it? bad wiring? empty tank? just curious.

Another question, if you are racing on the track (road course) does it matter how long of a "continuous" pumping of the meth you do? ie: Would a consistent spray on a race weekend (HPDE) type thin the oil out too much requiring frequent oil changes?

I also take it, once the red-light is on, (Empty tank) you have NO time to get out of the gas, you,in a sence, just go boom? Or is there some time of "danger-zone" where you can shut it down before catastrophic dammage. Thanks in advance.

Thanks Dave, OUCH! There are 2 "boxes" with mine, damn it is a tough call on when one will go bad. There is an IDIOT light that indicates its spraying, but how the hell do you know if it is ramping properly?? You get to a point when you are unsure if race-gas is a better bet. I have had my Meth kit for 18 months now, and FINALLY got it hooked up and working. just would hate to toast the AMS 2.3 for the "xtra" hp, when the gains are same-ish and safer with race-gas.

I thought they should read about the same as with regular or race-gas, NO? great question. When I stomp on the accelerator, meth-spray light is on, and the A/F is 11.2-11.5. is that acceptable?

I think you are running conservative with those AFR and you shouldn't have any problems.

That wouldnt be a good rule of thumb, when u have the most load on the motor, you still want a nice rich(er) condition. 13.0:1 is too lean in moderate to heavy load. 12.5:1 is still pushing it, For conservation you want 11.8-12.0:1.

I was told the the meth makes the wideband read lean.... The instructions say to start to tune at 12.0 a/f because the meth fools the O2 sensor, and doesnt read correctly.

Plus the meth will take care of most of the knocking or pre-ign.
