I step on the gas with the methanol spraying, and I see 11.2-11.5 at WOT. is that too lean? cause for concern? And when do you cross the line between "a tad lean" to GOD YOU BETTER GET OUT OF THE THROTTLE?

Just thought I would ask without searching first.

You could always buy another motor, seems a little on the low side.

I want to have fun in the car now, not replace stuff anymore! Besides, I have to keep ahead of you BEFORE you go hog wild on your AMS 1,000 HP build!

A little low, meaning OK? too rich?

11.2-11.5 is definitely not too lean. Are you seeing that a/f ratio throughout the powerband?

Mostly yes, it is more at WOT-ish, I see it get down in that range. it is in that range, sustained throttle, higher rpm's.

11.2-11.5 is on the richer side.
My air/fuels are 12-12.2's. Remember, the meths tricks the wideband. So 12.0-12.2 are actually more like 11.2-11.7's.
Methonal suppresses knock! I use 50/50 for maximum protection from det. and knock. If
you read and do some homework....the h2o is just as important as the meth. Also less chance of washing the cylinders down, which decreases the lubrication properties of the oil.
The pro cars running meth, like the AEM car, and the Turbonetics solora that runs 7's.... all use 75% meth, 25% h2o.
