VIshnu Stage 3 GT 3076 Just dynoed; 422 WHP 91 Octane + Alky
Made 422 whp 378 ft.lb. with Shiv tuning on Full Function's Mustang Dyno, using 91 Octane + Alky. Friday 10/20/06
2005 Evo 8. Mods:
-Vishnu Stage 3 setup with GT 3076 .63 turbo including;
-4/1 Tubular 321 Stainless Header (Jet Hot coated w/Factory Heat Shield)
-3" Vishnu Signature exhaust with test pipe and added 12" and 18" x 3" Stainless Resonators. Magnaflow muffler
-Xede V3 with SMART system, knock buffer, overboost protection, alky protection, P0400 code eliminator and C-Reader
-Vishnu ECU Flash
-AMS Intercooler
-660 cc Injectors
-HKS 264-I/272-E Cams
-Vishnu 5-Bolt cam gears (-3/-3)
-Alky Control Alcohol Injection controlled by GM MAP sensor (PAC gain set at ~2 PM)
-Custom lower intercooler piping with Wiggins Clamps
-Tial 38 mm Waste Gate with 1.5 bar springs (21.75#)
-DeJon Greddy S replica RS diverter valve with stop leak kit
-HKS rod bolts and head studs
-Walbro 255 pump
-Exedy twin disc clutch
The above mods pretty much include all the changes Vishnu recommends on their Stage 2 setup, plus a tubular header and the Alky system.
These parts are stock:
-Stock air box
-Stock air filter
-Stock upper intercooler piping
-Stock block
-Stock head, valve springs and retainers
-Stock intake manifold/throttle body
-Stock ingnition system
-Factory ECU
Boost with 91 Octane and Alky was set at 27 lbs. Will tune for race gas + alky in the future.
My mods are somewhat conservative and were chosen for a combination of street use (with the Alky often turned on) and track day road course use (with the Alky normally turned off). This was a fairly safe tune as the Alky could have been turned up more. We stopped here cause my goal of 500+ crank horsepower that could be used safely for daily driving was achieved on 91 octane (+ Alky of course). And who said California gas is no good?
The spool-up with this setup is very good. I'll try to get the dyno chart posted shortly.
Thanks Shiv for the great help and service on this project. The car runs perfectly. Now I gotta get used to that torque steer when the turbo spools. Nice problem to have; I couldn't be happier with the way everything turned out.

These are awesome results for 91 oct. Shiv is definitely the man, I cant wait to get tuned!!

Damn you have 100hp on me even though I'm on race gas and you're on pump+alky. I can only imagine what that must feel like. I was pretty satisfied with the numbers I got on race gas on my stock 05 turbo.
