Damn you have 100hp on me even though I'm on race gas and you're on pump+alky. I can only imagine what that must feel like. I was pretty satisfied with the numbers I got on race gas on my stock 05 turbo.

Yeah, mine is currently making about 100 hp more on 91 Octane + Alky than it makes on plain 91 Octane gas. But my Exede map for plain 91 Octane is an ultra conversative tune for use one the track. Only makes about 325 whp on the Mustang dyno. I'll be trying that out at Laguna Seca on November 2nd.

Nice #'s dude.

Wondered if you were considering running the alky on the track, but see you're not - good call. That's what you need that race gas map for!

Is it normal for that turbo to peak at 6k rpms then fall off?

Yes, TQ will drop a lot after that point and power will too, on a 2.3 it is even more prominent, however my .82 a/r jptsode helps out.

I believe the same approximate horse power can be achieved with 91 + Alky as 100 - 104 Octane without Alky though the tune is different.

this motor will not last, too much boost for 91 octane. even with 91+alky the octane level isn't enough to support that boost level. whats the knock count on the car?

good numbers, but put 100 octane to be on the safe side.

reed32,

The cooling effect of a well managed alky injection system is underestimated in my opinion. The 91 Octane + Alky tune is used on the street with as much as 27 lbs. boost where there are only short bursts of power. Knock is not a problem assuming I am not going to try for a sustained top speed run or something like that. I also have the SMART working on the Exede which provides additional protection. With 500 (crank) horsepower, you don't leave the throttle down long on the street.

i have almost the same setup as you, i put down a little more power but im on 93. anways so are you using a greddy type s bov? if so i would defently recommend changing that. i was leaking boost at 21psi with my stock turbo with the type s this ended up being the death of my stock turbo. I tried it with the gt3076 and it started leaking at around 23psi it was hard to tell, i dont know why it usualy easy to notice when a bov is leaking. Just my 2cents and a heads up.

real nice numbers i bet its as fun to drive as mine is

How will this motor not last long? If he is logging no knock or very very low Knock throughout his pulls whats going to cuase the motor to blow, a little gremlin inside the engine with a hammer?
