475 whp, 341 ft lbs, 93 octane and still going.....

Wow,

Have a hell of a combination I am tuning right now. Owner of the car is in now infamous, "Jack Russell"

The car came in we put in our 2.3 liter shortblock, Stage 3 head, custom tubular header, custom 02 housing, AMS intake manifold, stock throttle body, our Race FMIC, 1200 cc injectors, our COP ignition and a set of Jun camshafts (Revolvers are still on back order).

Owner of the car is looking for a killer street car. I think we are on to something. We already know that 460 whp on our dyno translates to 128 mph+ trap speeds.

This car I put a base tune on with just 93 octane. With ONLY 21 psi of boost the car just put down 475 whp and 341 ft lbs of torque. I am freaking impressed.

The turbo we put on is the same turbo we have used for yearsin our tube chassis car and our Conquest. We put a T67 P Trim on this car and rather than use the T4 housing we used in the past we put it into a T3 housing.

This is the 2nd time I have tuned one of our strokers with this turbo and I must say I am impressed again.

Tomorrow the fun begins. The car is set up to run an alky kit along with the pump gas. So tomorrow it will be tuned at closer to 30 psi with the alky kit. From there the tune will turn to race gas and I am hoping to put over 600 whp to the wheels with the car. That is big power on this dyno and should be enough to get the car into the 9's with a real drag tire on it, if he chooses to do so in the future.

Looking forward to the outcome.

I can post a dyno sheet tomorrow if anyone is interested in the results so far.

Nice! Yah, that turbo works well on pump gas. Looks like we're making similiar power on these combo's. It's worth about 30-50whp more on pump gas over a GT35R.
