Autronic pass smog?

I made this thread in the wrong forum before.

Has anyone passed smog with the autronic. My tuner seems to think it's a no go because of the fact I have intake manifold sensors that are not hooked up through the stock ECU, which sounds correct to me. It looks like I will need to go back to stock intake manifold. Right now I have the AMS intake manifold.

In NV they only do OBD-II port test and no sniffer.

Thanks for any help. Sorry I'm new to EVO's, but I'm learning quick I hope.

no 'stand alone' ecm offers OBD diagnostics... so if you emissions test includes checking the OBD operation and fault detection, then the answer is no...

no aftermarket 'stand alone' system will pass OBD test... that's Autronic, AEMEMS, MoTeC, etc...

You are correct.

So... here's an oppotunity to make some money. Produce an electronic box that will feed BOGUS ODB signal to a port that will fool the tester. Shouldn't be too hard :P
