You can tuning cam timing and fuel tables with the ecu+. You will need a seperate boost controller. Most use a MBC but I use an EBC. The ECU+ is especially useful for datalogging because it allows you to better tune your car to your specific driving.

You do not need a reflash to use the ECU+. My car is rather stock so I didn't reflash it, but a friend of mine has cams and decided to reflash his and is able to fine tune his flashed ecu with the ecu+.

In addition can I hook up my laptop to it to "street" tune the car?
You can hookup your laptop or palm to the ECU+ directly with a serial cable and tune and log from there.

The K-Pro is more similar to a standalone, or a fully documented reflash tool.. The ECU+ is a piggyback setup..

The best way to tune the car is using a reflash, and then logging and fine-tuning over time with the ECU+, then you can go back and refine the tune later if you want.

ECU+'s strongest point is its logging, Maf translator, and idle stability adjustments.. Those three features alone make it worth the money. Other features it has such as an OBD-II scantool, MAF(Fuel) and (CAS)timing adjustments, etc..

I love the street dyno feature. You can see how your fuel and/or timing changes are affecting your power and torque. Also the software support from Tom (ECU+) is just plane awesome. ECU+ and ECUflash are a great combination for the DIY tuner.
