Aaa, Nice job finding that. Now you should have faster boost response overall.

I should double check to make sure mine does not have a restictor in it, although I recently got a JDM map sensor and I don't really use the zt2 boost sensor anymore aside from being one of the ZAVT failsafe triggers.

my meth is triggered by a hobbs switch@10psig and the kalivco map sensor is also plumbed into the same boost line - all inside the cabin.

previosly, when i let off...the pressure/boost in the tubing is "slowly" vented due to the brass pill and meth is still spraying, i was shooting massive flames - no flames now

haha its a good thing the dyno guy was searching for a vacuum line source

that is such a great find, i'll post pictures of the actual restrictor tonight, i still have it in my wallet.

it should be noted though that any MAP source for meth injection should be located as close a possible to the manifold. i have enough logs to duplicate the same results Slowcar has here.

so its nothing to do with how zeitronix samples the data (we were confused because its 75hz or so, so plenty fast, yet the decay time is enormous). its how long the vacuum line is to the MAP sensor. my apologies to zeitronix for any blame on my part to their product, when they were correct in assume it was our setup. it should also be noted that the stock boost gauge vacuum line is over 10 feet long, with the restrictor in it. it is routed through the front fendor then into the cabin from inside the fender liner. its a very long path to take, and a terrible source to use for manifold pressure.

very interesting results with eliminating the flames. Makes plenty of sense, I was wondering how you used to shoot flames all the time when I only get flames sporadically.

No problem. It's understandable how this kind of log may raise questions (and it should).
We would not design a lagy input to be coupled with the best pressure sensor on the market. Moreover, we test every input of every Zt-2 shipped out, plus every Zt-2 input is protected so it was very unlikely there was a problem with this Zt-2 unit itself. Glad you found the restriction in the vacuum line.
Happy tuning!
