High Knock

Just the other day my friend got ecu-scan and we logged a few pulls on my car; The warning for knock was going nuts as I was getting over 10 counts of knock and 16 by 7k rpms. At Idle it's still 0 so I didn't think it was interferance. anyone have any idea or possible suggestions to a. help fix this or b. what interferance might this be after moving? I turned boost down to 18psi and still get about an 6-9 knock count by 7k. The car was flashed by Turbo Trix for 21psi on 93 octance. I'm going to log again this weekend with gas from a different station as I think maybe I just got a bad batch or somthing . . . a week prior I ran 12.5 @ 107 and felt I was losing top end somewhere . . . 4 gear just blu

4th gear is one of the strongest gears in the car, so yea, you was probably knocking then. Why not just get a custom tune on the dyno?

Probably just too much timing. It's easy enough to change it in Ecuflash. When the car starts feeling like *** and doesn't want to accelerate anymore, often times it's because a lot of timiing is getting pulled due to knock.

Well, there's not too much to it. You generally get knock from one of three things: too much boost, too much timing, too lean. You can adjust those in any combination to reduce the knock.

As said above.

1. Make sure your running safe boost levels
2. Richen it up a bit if needed
3. Then adjust timing as best you can without high counts of Knock
