Engine Ice.

I know this is marketed as a bike coolant but would it be safe to use in my Evo? It reads like a good product, a cool engine is a happy engine (to an extent..) If not, what would be a good coolant to use?

Why would you take the risk? And what's wrong with your coolant now?

There is some extreme heat generated by the Evo block that you should not trust with bike coolant. Even proven additives like water wetter by Redline may be insufficient for the Evo.

The coolest coolant is water by itself, but of course the block is iron so rust will be an issue and also since some owners live in climates that can drop below freezing water can sometimes not be ideal. I personally use a mixture of 20% coolant and 80% water, but I live in Houston. Never freezes here lol.

When I lived in Houston I ran the same mixture, but I also had the added weight of a stack of napkins to wipe my butt sweat off with as I refuse to use A/C (power drain).

I've tried water wetter in my Stealth when it was overheating last year (electric fans were too small) it didn't help in the slightest. I figured in the very least it would delay the inevitable overheating.

So seeing as how I live in GA (not by choice but no offense) a 20/80 mixture would be my best bet? Water wetter or no?
