Coolant hose heat sheild question.

I have an equal length manifold that's heating up my stock coolant hose (looking to wrap my coolant hose). Ive scene several solutions for wrapping the coolant hose. I was leaning towards a reflective material sleeve that would cover the hose. I was wondering what brand most people are using and the size they are purchasing. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

You should look into a different radiator hose. If you've seen the Mishimoto radiator kits, they use a straight hose that clears upgraded manifolds a lot more/better. EvoM did a review on them, the link is still on the home page. I'm sure you could get the hose from them, or I know that CBRD radiators use these straight hoses too.

I'm running an ETS equal length manifold, with stock radiator and hoses. I know it does come kinda close and get it hot. I would do something like this before wrapping the manifold. I hear that it traps moisture in the wrapping, so it could crack or damage the manifold over time.

At this point I do not want to wrap my manifold. I will be removing the turbo and manifold soon to get it ceramic coated. I'm looking for a temporary fix for my radiator hose (I.E reflective sleeve.) I was wondering what size people were purchasing and what brand and where from.

Sure it looks great, but it would probably get just as hot, if not hotter. It's in the exact same spot also. This won't really relieve any heat issues.

I'm not having issues as of yet. This is more for the prevention of future problems (I.E hose melting/becoming brittle)

ive never heard a problem of all the BR guys out there running the tubular kit.

i havent had a problem, u can wrap the hose with heat wrap if ud like.

or another option if u want to spend the $$ is the CBRD radiator, it relocates the neck
