Coolant splashed all over engine bay?

Any one else have this issue? On the area between the battery and the motor, where the coolant hose attaches to the head, and where the coolant hose goes to the turbo, I notice a bunch of dried coolant on top of the hoses. Or atleast I think it's coolant...it's greenish in color.

My car only has 13.5k on it and I've never taken any coolant lines off. What is causing this build-up of coolant in this spot?

I saw another friends Evo having the build-up in the same spot. Any ideas?

call the dealer, there is a recall for some 05 evo's for a faulty coolant supply line for the turbo. they will replace it for free.

The coolant lines going to the turbo are held on by pinch clamps. Replace them with screw clamps and I believe that will solve your problem. It fixed it for me.

I'd have mitsu replace the recall and any other hoses and components that were affected by it.

Mine did the same thing but when driving. That hose decided to go and made a mess under the hood. Luckily I have an 05 and its covered under the recall
