I just got my tactrix cable and have been messing around doing some logs while driving around...

however i noticed that my coolant temp is rather high...well at least higher than some of the logs ive seen posted here on the forums (Ive seen 82 degrees)..

for instance, tonight driving home from work, the log starts with my coolant temp at 98.88 F

after driving about 15 minutes to my house the coolant temp had risen to 182.05 F

This is a stock ECU, mods are in my sig.....is this something to be worried about?

 

sounds normal... i beleive we come with a 180 degree thermostat... so the thermostat wouldnt open until then.... your fine...

 

alright thanks..wasnt sure since i just started logging myself..

was just a little worried because like i said i had seen some other logs posted with coolant temps as low as like 82

 

What you are seeing is the difference of Celsius and Fahrenheit. 180*F is about 82*C.
