i have dyno'd 10 whp gain from taking the stock cat back exhaust off, that's on a mustang dyno. It wasn't peak, it actually gained on the whole power band. Also picked up 1 mph in the 1/4 and dropped .1 off of ET.

I am considering running one of these http://dmhperformance.com/ecutout.htm with the stock exhaust.

Right now I have a HKS tbe and it is really annoying as I drive out to school which is like 200 miles. At the end of the trip my ears are ringing. I would also like to avoid the cop attention as it is just a hassle having to worry about getting pulled over when you are not doing anything wrong.

I was researching the different brands and this one seemed to be the best as it has a 4 year warranty and it opens and closes rather quickly (there is a video on there website) compared to the others. What do you guys think.

Another question, I have a 35r with a reflashed ecu, with something like this throw off a tune? It was tuned with the tbe so it shouldn't make that much of a difference would it?

shouldn't make a difference open cutout as the hks is probably just as high flowing, however with the stock exhaust youre going to get alllllllottttt of back pressure.. and as far as cutouts go, DMH makes a good cutout, with a warranty that puts companys like QTP to shame

As long as I never go WOT with the cutout closed, it shouldn't be a problem should it?
