I have a black evolution 9 SE with a catback exhaust. Im selling this car and yesturday my friend was driving it and on a ramp he lost control and spun out and did a 360. when he did the 360 he stalled and kept on rolling so he hit the E-brake at like 3-4 mph. Car wouldnt start up at first but then it did the 2nd try. The problem now is the Service Engine Soon came on and i need that out. Anyway know why it turned on and how i can reset it.

 

BTW no damage thank god just scared the living hell out of me because i saw it happen i was driving his STI.

 

try disconnecting the negative battery terminal and reset it that way.

i would take it to autozone so they can tell you why the light came on....you could have messed something up..
