im about to buy a apexi power fc from my friend but how do i know if it will work for my car evo. im asking this because he use to have it in his turbo'd honda for obd2 so will it work if i directly plug it into mine? thanks

im running the FCD-Jet, and love every min. of it. the only thing i dont like about it is the crappy 2-step.

yes if your tuner locks the tune (tell him he is an idiot if he does) you can unlock it with datalogit

the fc is a great unit. if you want different maps, you need to get the datalogit. i have one on my turbo honda and it is making well over 600+whp. I plan to use the fc when i get my evo8.

yes there is, on the power fc d jetro i have a 3.5gm map sensor with options for street/track which is pump/race gas

hey ,my power fc is locked from the tuner and i cant even change my rev limit.
im not gona take my car for 4 hours just to unlock it so it possible i can unlock the power fc my self if i have the deta logit ?

Wow, I didn't know that this post was still going on. I decided to stick with the factory ECU and run the ecuflash software. I have been very happy with it and probably will just stick with it for a while unless I feel the need to make more power.

So with the datalogit, can you tell which cells your in while tuning? That seemed to be the biggest frustration was not knowing which cells you were running in so you kinda guessed which ones you were modifying.
