there was no mention of it being for an ECUtek until after I posted, settle down

p.s. it's still a rip off for a good tune

I like how you trash another vendor but don't really know the facts or bother trying to figure it out. I guess that tells us something about you and your business. What class! Maybe your word "OUTREAGOUS" is appropriate here.

also the dude i was talking to is really good friends with the guy who owned the car before me and i found out he was a grandpa driver with a young daughter so he didnt dog the car alot and he maintained it well-showed me invoices of work done

whose got a brand new exedy stage 1 clutch with like 10000 miles? i do
also he told me its got all new fluids and just needs an oil change(had the car like 4 days at this point).

so what do you guys think is that a rip off 695 bucks for a tune or is that normal? cause to me it seems fishy...
way to create an account just to bash a vendor...

why are you so offended? do you work for them or do you have one in your car? To my knowledge they aren't a vendor here which should tell you something.

bottom line, I can provide a better custom tune for a third of the price.

This is correct. MZM as I recall was a trained ECUTEK tuner as we were back in the day. We have since switched to the more cost effective Ecuflash system as it is a better value to the customer.

Actually, I know these guys personally and here is some vendor on EVOm that has no idea what's going on trashing them. So, I put in my $.02. Again, I think it is very telling about you and your business practices that you so freely trash other companies when you admittedly didn't know all the information. Very professional.
Do you honestly believe that being EVOm really means anything? It simply means you've paid a fee, nothing more.

Finally, I'm sure you can do a tune for less when you don't actually have to pay for the software. Amazing how that works.

I didn't trash the company, I said it's overpriced for a tune.

wow, what happend here. just my .02 the price is expensive because of the use of ecutek like most people said. def go with a tactrix cable and a tune from any of the great tuners here on the board.
two places i know to get the tactrix cable is www.tunertools.com and www.tactrix.com
pretty much same price give or take 2 bucks.
then check www.openecu.org as well as reading through the posts in the ecuflash form.

good luck man!
