Install a breeze!
Install a breeze!
Got the ap today, installed it, and just wanted to drop another review about the EASY installation. It IS as easy as they say. Waiting for nice weather to try out the performance end of it though... will update when weather breaks. Its ice raining, and sleeting and crap here
I am currently running the 93 octane stage 2 setup. And I did get to drive it today! I love it. Not just the power gains, but the drivability increases. I had already had the profecbspec2 ebc, so Im already feeling power gains from that. Definitely faster though. Alot smoother too. Smooth idle and also through the whole power band. I like it alot. took 5 min. for ins tall, and I cant wait for more maps to become available on the website. Just because I have a test pipe rather than cat, and headers also, and hi flow fuel rail, and walbro pump. I'm sure some more power can be squeezed from those mods also. For the price, The cobb is awesome. Out here, local tuners want $450-$600 for just one tune. With the cobb, I can tune myself without the stress of worrying if Im gonna blow something up If I was tuning on a laptop with a stand alone. Would recommend to anyone. very convenient, and my baby runs so much better. The evo likey!
i dont know though.. I used to have 07 STI. When I had the COBB i NEEDED the cobb... I cant imagine buyin one for an evo.. Im more of a road test-tune dyno tune IN PERSON guy... good luck with the AP.. And enjoy the downloadable maps.. as COBB are GOOD PEOPLE.. I remember a guy named Trey or Troy who helped me out a bunch... The one thing for subarus is they ran into some problems with Blown motors from 07 Including mine... Just be very careful with mail in reflashes like that.. Because they are made FOR those mods... But you should be fine... Its not a f*in subie
