Turboxs FMIC installed on evo ix....

Yesterday i installed my turbo xs FMIC on my 9 MR. I was skeptical because of reading posts saying no gain on the stock turbo. Well this made a huge difference. Install took only about 45 min. Perfect fit. Now in 80+ degree weather it pulls like its 60 and in 60 degree weather it pulls like it Christmas in alaska
I love it. WELL worth the money especially in the summer.

So what were your gains? You can't base it off the butt dyno.

Definitely happy with mine, but I'm also on a bigger turbo. Saw air temps rising about 25-30degrees over a third gear pull (stock FMIC), and now it's only 3-6degrees with the Turbo XS.

Sorry to brust your bubble. I have installed a HKS Type R intercooler on my Evo 8 and did several dyno pulls after with no gain. However, my numbers were very consistent pull after pulls.

So actually you gained consistency on your pulls... That's the point of adding a FMIC
