turbo xs fmic on my 9 with removed bumper support, and the bumper was cut out along the vents where the bumper once was... I did this cause I was tapped in the front and was getting a new bumper but now I think it looks killer..

you guys must remember too.. as steve said you won't notice much if any gains on the dyno as the car isn't moving.. But this core is heavy, bar and plate, so it acts as a heatsink, meaning on a 75-80 degree day, even in slow traffic the hot side is always warm and the cold side is well, cold so it is much more efficient in the warmer weathe than the really light stocker tube and fin design

fyi to do this all I did was cut out the vents and followed the original bumper lines.. It is a little rough, but looks good. Like I said it wasn;t meant to be kept, as I intended on getting a new bumper, but I really like it now.. Also you cannot use the oem crash bar in the front... So take this into consideration.

This intercooler has been overlooked by me until recently. Any word on this question?
