why a 4th gear pull? do you have the six speed?

not too sure why...Stephen at IA said there are different engine loads in 4th vs. 3rd and he wanted to make sure the map was good all the way in either gear...i guess.

we did do a 3rd gear pulls with the same map and it hit 306whp and 316wtq

 

forgot to add I have a 5spd

 

i didn't get pro tuned, but i did have IA Performance make me a map to correct my fuel cut and I must say to Stephen there for doing a great job. Car feels much smoother, feels like it has more power and most of all no fuel cut I've been running the map since friday and no complaints

That's great news....I can attest that I always feel good and safe having Stephen do everything on my car...he takes his time and treats the cars like they are on his own payment plan!!!!

 

i would have liked to have them pro tune my evo, but massachusetts to AZ is a long *** ride

 

I just recently got my Evo 9 pro tuned by Tim Bailey of Surgeline Tuning.One of my Sti buddies told me about him.He travels from place to place tunning out of local dyno shops,he did mine out of Yimi sport tuning in Santa Clarita,Socal area.I was impressed on how meticulous he was,made sure everything was perfect.He had mentioned about some issues with the software still,but had resolved them.I just got the AP that night so hadn't even tried the base maps out,not that it matters already heavily modded.Made me 3 mapps...one for valet mode no revving over 4k,hate hearing from the valet how fast my car is...wait how does he know that..2nd 91 octane ,socals finest pee water map..3rd 100 octane unleaded..I had already had a flash on my car with 91 octane,which he beat by one pound of trq..At the end the car made 446 horsepower and 356trq at the wheels on 100..O did I mention I recently got two referee tickets..here in CALI cops get mod happy and like to give out tickets for modding you car, so luckily with my AP I can return my ecu back to stock...priceless.
