Full-Blown, I wanted my car to be E85 safe/capable. I cannot speak for the milage as I did it before my 35R build, I changed turbos/cams/fuel pumps/some other stuff all at the same time, that being said i get better mileage off of the 35R than the 30r....go figure.

I went with the Full Blown twiin pump setup. I use a pressure switch to tell the second pump when to come on so that it's not running all the time because I heard it was bad for the stock fuel lines to have that much pressure all the time going through them. I use an adjustable FPR not sure if its a NEED or not. Gas mileage is mostly up to how rich the tuner tunes your car.

why do you get better with the 35r??? cuz it doesnt spool as quick under normal driving conditions or something???

I am not sure, could be a number of things. I think that as you said i make boost later in the RPM range so I am not using more fuel when just cruising.

p.s. Gas milage is most dependent on how the car is driven, tune makes minimal differences as long as cruising A/F's are similar.

Do you have both pumps going or do you also use a presure switch?

What presure switch are you using? Is the presure taken from a boost vacuum tube or some other way?

I am using a hobbs switch which is a simple pressure switch. They are adjustable via pressure level, I just run a T in my boost source line.

I would think it would depend on the size of your feed line, size of return line, and how much power you are looking to make.

Looking to cover the big end of boost\ful needs for my 35r. I may not need it with a 2.3 due to it not spinning that high(RPMs). But if I do need the twin pumps, then I'll be ready. Using stock lines and stock fuel rail.

Scorke, did you run out of fuel, then you went to a twin pump set-up, or was it just a precaution?

Np, it's called a hobbs type switch, if I can find who made mine I will try to find you the part number and or manufacturer. You can get them in tons of pressure ranges either open or closed without boost, I am running one that is closed until 10 psi then once the sensor reads 10 psi the circuit is open it allows the second pump to crank.

It was done as a precaution/measure to ensure that I could run e85 with safe injector duty cycles on a moderate tune.

I think even with a maxed out 35R you are just scratching the surface of needing a double setup, on e85 though all that goes out the window.

Do you know where you got this hobbs switch? I am looking for the same thing for my inline pump. I just cant find a normally closed one in the right PSI range anywhere.
