Thumbs down Just a little information

Ive had my 03 evo8 for about 8 months now.
I went to vishnutuning to get a tune after i purchased and installed a works tb exhaust. I was disapointed to find out that I do not get a dyno tune or a road tune for my 400, i just get a pre-made reflash.
For lack of knowledge of my options, i went ahaed with the work.
after the reflash, the tech took my car for a drive. He went on t o tell me that my turbo is "tired" and i dont use the right gas in my car. (i was useing cheveron at the time )
so he took my money and sent me on my way....
i noticed that my car still wouldnt hold boost.
A freind of mine was nice enough to donate a mbc to my cause and i set it at 21 psi cause the tech at vishnu told me that if my turbo wasent so tired that would be what it would hold.

for the last 7 months my car has run like crap with stinky rich black smoke at idle and no power after 4000 rpm. the guys at vishnu justput it off on bad equip. on my part

today i took my car to speed element and had Andy tune it.
after he t old me that my car making 246 hp with a tune and a tbe is a very good thing, i asked him if my turbo felt tired, he said no, your evo is strong, but your clutch could use replacement soon.

after b.s. ing with him for a while, i payed ( for the second tune, but with no added mods from the first one) i went for a drive.
night and day.....
needles to say, Andy wil be in charge of my tuning from now on
for andy
for having to pay for 2 tunes for it to be done right

My friend is in a similar situation after taking his car to Buschur to have some work done. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not bad mouthing Buschur, they do know their stuff, it's just a case of my friend not doing his homework completely before he told them what he wanted. Well, after the normal TBE, intake, HKS 280's, Apexi speed density stand alone swap, and a mbc he's now slower than my Evo was when I bought mine stock lol. Same situation...thick clouds of black smoke and no power at all because he told them he wanted an "ultra safe" tune...and he's still on a stock turbo. Needless to say I'm going to retune it for him, but had he done his homework he could've saved a lot of money, aggravation, and fuel. Just my 2 cents tossed in, good luck with your new tune!
