MAF vs. MAP using Factory ECU
I just want to start off by saying that I have not been in the forums for quite a while so this question but be common knowledge to some. I want to do some engine upgrades, and in the process I want to switch to a BOV design as a method of releasing excess pressure in the intake side. However, I do know that will confuse the factory ECU and some people switch to a stand alone ECU using a Mass Air Pressure sensor in place of the factory Mass Air Flow sensor. Can the Factory ECU be tuned to work with a MAP sensor, therefore allowing the use of a BOV?
