I have a studder also. No other mods but just joining the guys who are pissed they spend 700 just to be told they have to spend more for protuning. Should have gotten a dyno tune for 450 and been happy...I have to find the source of this misfire or fuel cut or whatever the AP did! Not a happy camper anyway. Car has 15K and ran perfect until one week after AP install...not good mojo man

Josher8, I highly recommend you get a boost leak check. I've had the same boost cut/fuel cut since the beginning. Did my own boost leak check basically not knowing what to look for. I recently installed an ETS LICP and the boost cut completely stopped. I am most certain i had a boost leak at the LICP to IC coupler. Remember, the AP does not perform well with boost leaks.

hey all, thought I bring some light to the situation I had because I fixed it. I figured out after tearing everything apart the the MAF adapter I had was to small, so the filter was too amall and was throwing off the MAF caussing problems. I guess with the stock map it could ajust but now with the mods it no likey. so I am running the stock air box til i figure out something else.

i blame the 02 housing if you replaced it. i installed a helix 02 housing and have been overboosting like a ****. i dont really think it is a issue with the ap. my boy has the same **** as i do and we both live in chicago. xcept he did not put on the o2 housing he kept the stock one after he saw how ****ty the car overboosted with the dam housing.

my 2cents are go back to a stock housing and you can run your ap maps just fine.

surprised alot of ppl dont realize how much 02 housings make things worse for ppl that live in cold weather. a protune is a must or just go back to the stock one.

so let me get this straight.....the o2 housing from an aftermarket company will mess up the tuning with the ap? I plan on getting one next week and with the mods that i have, i don't wanna have to spend more that what i already did.......

Man people do not read...ANYTHING outside of the recomended hardware can cause the car to run improperly with the OTS maps.

They are specific calibarations for specific hardware, period. It is not suprising that the OP had problems with a non-stock, non-COBB MAF adapter and filter, it is a frequency based sensor and harware changes CHANGE the frequnecy. Likewise, changing O2 reading with a different housing, is going to likely cause issues. That's why the smart ones are recommending getting Pro-Tuned.

If people would just read directly from the COBB website, they would already know this.
