Hi all,

I'm in desperate need of some help, i have recently purchased an evo 7 GTA and the second day of driving the check engine light turned on, i have now been driving the car for the past two weeks and it turns off and on at totally random times, its really starting to get on my nerves, the car is totally stock no mods what so ever. I have purchased a tactrix cable and should be coming my way in about a week. So getting to the point what (free) program can i use to see the error codes or does anyone know of this being a common problem, any help will be appreciated thanx.

You could just go to an auto shop that has an OBD II scanner, most will scan codes for free. Find out what the code is and post it on here. Without knowing the code, there's no way to know what's wrong or if it's serious
