Question Autronic SMC 1.99 PNP EVO VIII IDLE HELP

Can anyone tell me if auto tune can fix my idle? the idle will bumb from 900-1400 rpm's...sometimes it will level out for a few minutes at around 1000. I turned the auto tune on, but because the idle will never stay put, the auto tune isn't doing its thing. Could this be in the tune? Or is it something else? Newely rebuilt engine; it has .7 miles on it.

autotune works while in idle... you just have to set it properly if it is not engaging while car is in idle.

Are you using the built in MAP sensor or the cars MAP sensor? Or maybe left it on MAF? what sise injectors and make are you using and what static pressure are you running? What cams are in there? Has the car been tuned or is this a DIY?

Its a simple ECU to tune but very complicate underlying algorythms are at play so the base settings need to be 100% right.

Answer these and email me your Cal file. Will send it back working.

Adelin

You need to tune the idle ignition timing map. Also make sure the tps is calabrated.

1500rpm ? wow. crazy. I'm on a 2.3L fully built long block with 11.8 lift cams idle perfectly at 1000rpm. You should have your tuner check it out.

I think that's the problem, he doesn't have a tuner.

WOW! you guys were a little late on the responses...sorry. I have the car running great now waiting to go to AMS for tune. Most of my problems were due to improper injectors settings and overall fuel multiplier. Its a built 2.0l, head is ported and polished, 269 cams, IHI TCW77 w/P22 Turbo, 1000cc injectors, autronic SMC 1.99. Thank You though

Thats not true it will work under idle, it just takes too long, and since the rpms are stable its much faster to do it manually.
