Innovate XD-16/LC-1 Calibration

Anybody have any idea? The other day I jumped into my Mirage to take it for a quick drive and the wideband flashed "CAL" at me a few times. Then started to read "-.--"

I read the PDF file and it tells me that -.-- means there is a missing connection. I was messing around with it and I got the screen to read "Lo" and flash to "0.0" with the LED all the way to the left. Then go back to "-.--". On occasion if I hold in the button on the gauge, it will read "reS". I'm guessing that mean reset. In the PDF, it does not mention "reS".

This happened out of the blue. One day it works perfectly fine, then the next day it starts doing this. Anyone have any idea? I'm going to try and do a bit more research, but any help is appriciated

Mine recently started acting up. A little different though. Mine went from reading 14.7 to 4.7. It was dropping the first digit of all readouts. Simply I had to go into the logworks software and change it's setting back to gasoline. It somehow (randomly) changed to "custom".

It may be worth going in there and seeing if everything is set to the factory settings. Also, may be worth disconnecting the o2 sensor from the lc-1, and running the heater, and o2 through the free air calibration. Can't hurt and takes less than 10 minutes to do. You need to follow the instructions in the manual that comes with the box, not the pdf ones. They don't have the "how to" for the heater re-calibrate.

subscribed...curious to see your outcome...

^^ do you unplug your serial cable when theres power going to the wideband? That causes the setting to be changed. Not really sure why but it does

NO. I know in the book it really pushes the point of NOT doing that. I called innovate and they said they have had several calls of the lc-1 recently doing that.

If you unplug a logging cable from the xd-16 gauge while the power is on...it will most likely (every time) screw the settings up.

fazzy98..you loaded the software onto our computer right? The settings for the gauge colors is in one of the tabs across the top. If you need, I can go pull the manual and tell you exactly where...
