Lower Intercooler pipe situation

Ok so here's the story, I bought the Greddy intercoooler and it came with the LICP. Today I tried to go about looking at how to install this LICP and I'm a bit per plexed. It requires the removal of the turbo inlet pipe, which is fine no problem. Thing is I also have an AEM tru boost gauge, and am using the AEM boost solenoid that came with it. On that solenoid I have one silicone hose running to the wastegate and the other running to the turbo inlet pipe to read turbo pressure according to the AEM installtion instructions.

Now the situation is by removing the turbo inlet pipe I'd have a silicone hose attached to the boost solenoid and no idea where to connect the other end of that since there's no nipple on the Greddy LICP for such a connection. Any idea what to do here!??!

I have attached both AEM and Greddy installation instructions.

It stll amazes me this stuff isnt sold with a nipple. Go to a hardware store and buy a nipple. Drill the correct size hole and screw the nipple in. Make sure to blue glue it.

You have to have that hose coming from there for proper boost control.

wow i didnt know they sold a LICP that replaces the outlet pipe...........good luck man. that boost solenoid looks a bit useless without the nipple.

i guess you could always just buy a new LICP that utilizes the same outlet pipe.

People have been getting stuff like this for too long. A lot of people dont search before buying stuff so they never find out till its too late.

appreciate the info, where the hell can I buy a nipple like that?

I just wanted the intercooler lol, the LICP was an added bonus that came with it so I figured I might as well. But trying to look at the instructions how the hell did they want anyone to install this thing without the nipple?

just make sure if you do put a nipple on it that you use some silicone glue or something. permatex makes a good product. i would buy the red kind for your situation.
