Flating out my boost

Hi!

I have a question, have like 17.5psi boost in 1-3rd gear and 22.5 on 4th and 5th right now, I would like to increase so I have 22.5 no matter which gear. I know - I need a boost controller, and my tuner told me to get that HKS EVC6 but I don't want to since it's expensive. My friend has a MBC with spring which makes him hold the same boost no matter temperature or gear. Any tip on what MBC he has? (He doesn't know himself). And any tip on which I should get?

My mods in signature..

Thanks!!

/Best Regards, Andy

Edit. Of course I meant leveling out.. Just tired :-)

you will be able to up the boost with an manual boost control but it will still taper off thats just the way it goes..An electronic boost control will allow you more control over the boost to include wastegate response or in some cases (turbosmart) the E-boost 2 will allow you to set boost to rpm specific setting or even gear specific. A good EBC is the greddy profec B spec 2 many including myself use that one and like it for what mbc people are using just search for boost controlers a few mbc will come up

I'm using a GM solenoid with stock ECU control and I've got it set up to hold 22-23psi to redline. It's cheap and relatively easy if you want to put in the time to log and tune the WGDC map.
