hello guys!
I have a HKS evc vi (latest version) and was using it just fine. And now, after I installed Tial external wastegate, it started overboosting. I heard somewhere there's a switch that I need to change ? Swing valve to poppet? But I don't unfortunately have the manual instruction and have no idea where or how the switch is. Can someone help!!?

 

usually you need to configure the hoses different for an external wg then you would for an internal but none the less hope this helps

I am almost certain you have to do a full reset to be able to change SWING to POPPET in the initial setup.

Push the bottom button 3 or 4 times until it says AS7 "NO"
Hold the knob down till it blinks
Turn knob to "YES"
Press knob

**** this resets all settings on your EVC VI. ****
