change filter, AFR?

hi guys,

I just changed my stock air box with ralliart filter over for the Apexi M005 power intake kit,
also swapped the stock blow off valve for the tomei OEM replacement one (kinda like the ralliart metal one)

just wondering if I now need to be retuned, it is getting tuned next week anyway but im worried - will these mods have changed my AFR (air fuel ratio)? will it be dangerous to drive as-is?

it feels fine and sounds a little better
can u guys post back ASAP? i wanna go for a drive...and want to know whether to swap it back to stock or not.

Are tuned before? If you are getting tune next week thats fine but you will not blow your engine because you change your intake. If you were running a lean tune wth the stock airbor you will be a little leaner now.

yes tuned before, fairly safe tune though so wouldve had some margin in there.
i put it back to the stock airbox with ralliart filter and to be honest it feels much quicker than the brief drive i had with the apex unit on there. it was one of those open top filters that 'swirls' the air pre-MAF and i dont think the evo/tune was loving it , it was a bit slower!

not to worry i will get a bigger K&N one and feed it cold air and allow the tuner to set it up right next week for now, stock airbox and ralliart filter!

thanks for replying so quick guys, appreciated it!
