My mod choices

I own a 2006 silver evo 9. I'm going to be making some mods here in a few months. I just wanted to know if the choices I am going to go with are good choices. For the exhaust I am going with A'pexi N1 ExTi and the GT downpipe. For the air intake HKS Racing Suction Kit. Ground wiring kit HKS Circle Earth System.

I had the N1 on my integra and loved it. Very well made exhaust. I would not recommend the HKS intake though. Very pour filtration. Look into the Apexi filter with MAF adapter. Really good filtration, looks great, sounds great. BTW welcome to the forum!

Injen makes a full hardpipe kit with intake for as much as you are willing to spend on the hks setup. Just to let you know.

After I do all of this should I flash the ecu? And How do I go about doing that?

Definately get a ecu tune! It will make your car run much smoother with the mods and give you a ton of hp! You need to either find a reputable tuner in your area or do a mail in flash. For mail-ins I recommend Mellon tuning. Many people use him and he is know for making good power with a safe and reliable tune! He is a member on this board as well.

That intake is good, but for the price, the injen kit is unbeatable. 360ish With all hard piping polished.

Strongly recommend a flash for your ecu, simply because it will allow the car to utilize the new mods.

excellent, thanks for spreading the good word about Mellon Tuning, it's much appreciated and reminds me to continue to put 300% into each and every tune I do.

I think I am going to go with mellon tuning. I've heard a lot good reviews about mellon. I'm a little nervous about a mail-in but I'll be learning a lot in the process and that is the ultimate goal. Also, from what I've heard he walks you straight through it.

To be cost effective, get a new megan DP/TP combo and then whichever catback you want.

Just buy a Apexi open element filter for the intake

Pass on the grounding kit.

That should save you enough loot to get a tune.

Alright. I decided to scratch the HKS RS kit. I went with the Buschur filter kit instead but screwed up and bought the HKS ssqv bov. And from what I've heard and read, this is a terrible idea. I am going to stick with the stock bov/dv.
