I just installed my Power FC on my Evo 6 RS. I let the ECU do its 30 minute learning procedure after which the car drove ok, although I think its cuts out a little to easily when at idle and I engage the clutch. I actually have to blip the throttle to move off smoothly most of the time. I increased the idle value from 850rpm to 1000rpm but it did not help much. I am very new to tuning and have some questions I would like answered if possible.

1. Do I need to manually input my current Injector info (using 560cc) into the PFC and how do I enter this data correctly?

2. My Exhaust Manifold glows after a hard run. I don't have a AFR Gauge/Pyrometer as yet, I suspect that I am running lean though and need to upgrade my injectors, how can I check this for sure?

3. How can I see and change my Injector info e.g to see if my Injectors are running at their Maximum or if they have room for increasing their operating settings? I can't seem to find that using the Hand Controller.

good luck be very carefule you NEED a wideband afr sensor

 

My Wideband Sensor and AFR gauge are on their way. I should have them hooked up by next week. Anyone else has any advise to share?

 

Sure I am using a PFC with Wideband and Datalogit for Logging.. once u have this 2 items and some knowleadge of tunning(A/F vs Timing vs knock...etc) than u are ready to tune..

If u don't have a Datalogit is better that u try to do setting on a low loading point first. and try to make sure some one help u to do the driving...Hehe
