Walbro 255 fp install/ wideband install..lean idle afr!
Ok, so lets see,...install went smooth, wideband and fuel pump...
ran car, checked underneath for exhaust leaks..seen none......wb is installed in tp...bout 1 oclock position.
fuel pump install went well, except when i pulled out old pump with too much force and cables came out every which way ...but got that sorted out..
ok so heres my tuning questions...background(hks 272/272) (+1/-1)
my idle afr's are goin from 14.7 - hella lean(18.4) which is waht the laptop is showing...on the aem it just shows dashes when it gets to lean.
once it gets to its lean state idle is very rough like car wants to stall....
I did do a test pull watchin the wb, and oddly enough afr's seem good, 11.2 at WOT.
ok so question 1, I did read in another thread that for idling, i should change my timing to 8 - 10 degrees...has anyone done this?...and also should i up the fuel in idle cells to richen up my idle.
