I recently updated the newest ecuflash and now my evoscan v2.0 map tracer edition is not logging. I get the following error

initialization timed out. turn off and on ignition. or something similiar.

i tried to uninstall both, then just install ecuflash (version i was using before) then evoscan v2.0, and it still won't initialize.

Does anyone know what the issue could be or how to fix it i would appreciate it.

 

map tracer has always been flakey. I gave up on it a long time ago.
its better to use EXCEL map tracer program. Do a search for it.

 

I know it sounds stupid but do you have wideband checked and not have one that logs? Alot of people leave that checked and it will turn off as soon as it starts if wideband is checked and doesnt have one.

Agreed lemmonhead. I would much rather see raw data in excel

 

yea i have a wideband, but it wasn't checked. I use zeintronix by itself to log wideband.

Thing is it use to work before upgraded a different version of ecuflash. I uninstalled both then reinstalled evoscan and it still didn't work so Idk what the hell is goign on.

 

fixed, uninstalled maptracer evoscan and upgraded to 2.5 and latest ecuflash and its working..

so....... evoscan 2.0 maptracer edition does not work with latest version of ecuflash 1.4 i believe.
