Greddy Informeter Touch and Boost

I have just purchased a Greddy Informeter touch for my E9. The reason I got one of these was that I didnt want a heap of guages.

Now using evo scan and a tactrix cable I can log/read boost, but the informeter wont do it even though it is supposed to read boost.

Im wondering if any one can help. Ive compared the pins on the tactrix to the Greddy and they are a slightly different layout.

Cheers,

John

I think that because the Informeter was originally designed for JDM cars and US Spec Evo read boost differently.. Look into a JDM MAP sensor.

Im in New Zealand (southern hemisphere) so dont have a USDM spec car. Its EDM or JDM. Eo scan still logs boost so dont get why the informeter wont.

Well Greddy support has finally emailed me back and confirmed it wont work with my car.

Time for a standalone boost guage.

There are now modules that you can purchase that will read boost, oil/coolant temp and fuel/oil pressure

very interested in one of these for their clean appearance, data logging, weight and much easier to read than a heap of gauges
