waddup evom, looking to order the red within a few months, ordering kelford 280 / 272 cams with manley springs and retainers next week.....when i go to tune the car what do you FP Red owners use for injectors?

i was going to throw like 850cc injectors but im afriad they wont flow enough fuel for the FP Red and 280/272 cams.

should i just leave the 850's or jump up to like a 950cc or 1000cc?
will the 850's flow enough for my set-up or no?

880 is good for pump. But if you add METH or Race...may need bigger to get the max out of the turbo...

 

go 1200's. Room to grow into a bigger turbo or different fuel.

 

your 850's should be fine for a gasoline tune..If you run race gas you will not need as much fuel at the same boost level..

 

I would say 1000cc or 1200 just to be safe and so you have room if you ever run race gas or meth or something.

 

PTE 1000's and you will be good

Meth will actually lower his IDC. Youre 110% correct about the race gas.


I always so bigger the better with injectors. Scaled properly you wont notice any difference over stock.

atleast 1000cc, if your set up or fuel use changes you'll be safe. no point in buying injectors twice

 

^^ exactly and i was going to just get the 850cc's, but with me maxing out the cars potential on 93 pump, that will be pushing the injectors to its fuel potential because i dont have meth yet, if i had meth i would be ok because my IDC would be lower and i can just keep the 850's, but me with the 1000cc's will give me a lil le-way to tune with and then when i do the meth in 2 months i will still be ok
