How normal is this!!! LEAN..
Is this normal...
My car is a evo 9 running on 91 octane and spike 22psi and running lean like in the med 12's @ WOT,,,,,,My tuner tried tuning it adding more fuel but it didn't help!
The injectors where maxing out above 90% and that wasn't even by redline...
MOD'S ARE
Hks 272 Cams Springs/retainers
255 Walbro
3' DP/ TestPipe Catback
Injen intake with Hks open filter UICP stock LICP

You wont max out those injectors with your setup, the problem is something else. Only reason you need bigger injectors is when you get a bigger turbo, OR a stroker motor. Using those mods, your injectors are big enough for the job with those mods.

I think it might be ehter my injectors or walbro.... Because when I put in racegas for track days...I hook up a hose from the fuel return into a can and wait till the cars dies..and drian all the pump gas... May injectors are dirty or fuel pump is going bad,,,,,, Anyway Im gonna buy a new walbro and clean my injectors...

FYI everyone's definition of MAXED out (on stock injectors) is DIFFERENT. Generally speaking (for ALL CARS) you should try NOT to go above 85-90% duty cycle. Sure majority of the guys here go into the high 90's even 100-120%... but i personally wouldnt recommend it. Got a weird lean condition and can't figure it out?? Take it from me... get a voltmeter and test the resistance on all of your stock injectors. Trust me... i've turned a set of stock injectors static w/ just an intake/exhaust/tune on 24psi. It can happen. 1)the stock injectors are grossly unbalanced from the factory. My print out from RC engineering read like 530, 540, 560, 562 (cc readings). When stock should be 560cc. After they balanced them, they were all at 560. Anyways, resistance was reading 3.5 ohms or a tad higher. After racking my brain for months on a new pump, new tune, etc etc... i cured the problem w/ a set of pte780s and a retune. It WAS the injectors in my case. And yep it was an uncontrolled low to mid 12afr spike in a certain rpm range...
