So I go to get my tune on my 04 to find out I have the USELESS 96420008 in it. With minimal patches and very little support I'm looking for a rom with more use/ patches to better get the tune under control. i've tried switching to 94170015/14/08 from an 03 with the immoblizer dissabled.... no go. tried 96420011..... no go. What i'm thinking now is an 03 ecu or early 04 with 94170008 from the factory. Wiring looks the same between cars..... has anyone ever tried this or if so any tweaks or puriphery that needs to be messed with to get it running smooth?

I'm running 94170008 with the epephery added, and can only get 10lbs of boost. I can send you the ROM if you would like. I think I have a vacuum issue causing this problem as the car ran fine before, hitting 22-23 and holding a minimum of 18lbs at 7000+. Stock Turbo, Cams, etc. Just TBE, Injen Intake UIC, LIC, Warlboro 255, NGK BPR8ES, MBC, tweaked (me) flash car was running great, now I am f'ing with all of the vacuum lines to see what could have happened. Just wish I had a garage or something cuz it keeps raining on the weekends and I am tired of getting wet.....

when you tried the 94170015 swap....did you make sure the ECU internal ID was changed too????

Rather than disabeling the immobilizer code.....just swap in your current code.
